Mandala 1 Sukta 1 Mantra 5-9

अग्निर्होता कविक्रतुः सत्यः ।
चित्रश्रवस्तमः देवो देवेभिः आगमत् ॥ 1.1.5
Agni, the summoning pries, the Seer will, a God, is the Truth. He has the power of granting super normal powers of audition to the aspirant.

यदङ्ग दाशुषे त्वमग्ने भद्रं करिष्यसि ।
तवेत  तत सत्यमङ्गिरः ॥ 1.1.6
The auspicious happiness (bhadra) you shall create
For the giver, O Dear Agni
That is the Truth of you alone, O Angiras

उप त्वाग्ने देवेदिवे दोषावस्तः ।
धिया वयम नमो भरन्त एमसी ॥ 1.1.7
O Agni, day by day, in the night and in the light,
We approach you carrying our obeisance by our thought (dhiya)

रजन्तं अध्वरणाम गोपाम ।
ऋतस्य दिदिवीम वर्धमानम् स्वे दमे ॥ 1.1.8
Agni reigns over pilgrim yajnas
He is the luminous guardian of Truth
His power of manifestation is increasing in his own home.

 स नः पीतेव सूनवे अग्ने सुपायनो भव ।
सचस्वा नः स्वस्त्येम ॥ 1.1.9
As a father onto his son,
Be of easy access to us, O Agni
Cling to us that we can maintain our happy state.

Mandala 1 Sukta 1 Mantra 1-6

अग्निमीळे पुरोहितं यागस्य देवम ऋतविजम होतारं रतनधातमम् । 1.1.1
अग्निः पूर्वेभि ऋषिभिः इयो नूतनैः उत , स देवां एह वक्षति ॥  । 1.1.2
अग्निना रयिम स्नवत पोषमेव दिवे दिवे यशसं वीरवत्तमम् । 1.1.3
अग्ने यं यज्ञमध्वरम् विस्वतः परिभुरसी स इद्देवेषु गच्छति ॥ 1.1.4
अग्निहोर्ता कविक्रतुः सत्यः चित्रश्रवस्तमः देवो देवेभिः आगमत्। 1.1.5
यदङ्ग दाशेषु त्वमंगे भद्रं करिष्यसि त्त्वॆत तत सत्यमांगीरः ॥ 1.1.6
